Categorization of People

Categorization of People

Bismillah hir-Rahmanir-Raheem (In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful)

Assalam-o-Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu,
Dear All,
If we categorize the people according to their feeling and reality of good, evil, condition of life, success and reward of this life and the next life then there are four types of people in this world. But it depends upon people that what do they find good and what is actually good? (Definition of good is different for different people). Sometimes we find good which is actually illusion but we don’t know.
1. Good Life and Good Hereafter    (Those who spend good Here and will reward good in Hereafter)
2. Miserable Life But Good Hereafter (Those who spend miserable life Here but they will reward good in Hereafter)
3. Good (illusion) Life but Miserable Hereafter (Those who spend good Here but they will find misery in Hereafter)
4. Miserable Life and Miserable Hereafter (Those who spend miserable life Here and in Hereafter they will face torment)
Good Life and Good Hereafter:
This kind of people is the luckiest persons and they are chosen by Allah (Subhanahu wa-ta'ala). May Allah (Subhanahu wa-ta'ala) include us among those. That is the reason Allah (Subhanahu wa-ta'ala) and His Prophet (???? ???? ???? ???? ?????  ) teach us to pray.
“And of them there are some who say: "Our lord! Give us in this world that which is good and in the hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire!” (2:201) (See also, Sahih Bukhari, Book #60, Hadith #47)
Let me quote here a hadith which will clarify the meaning of good.
Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri : Once the Prophet sat on a pulpit and we sat around him. Then he said, "The things I am afraid of most for your sake (concerning what will befall you after me) is the pleasures and splendors of the world and its beauties which will be disclosed to you." Somebody said, "O Allah's Apostle! Can the good bring forth evil?" The Prophet remained silent for a while. It was said to that person, "What is wrong with you? You are talking to the Prophet (peace be upon him) while he is not talking to you." Then we noticed that he was being inspired divinely. Then the Prophet wiped off his sweat and said, "Where is the questioner?" It seemed as if the Prophet liked his question. Then he said, "Good never brings forth evil. Indeed it is like what grows on the banks of a water-stream which either kill or make the animals sick, except if an animal eats its fill the Khadira (a kind of vegetable) and then faces the sun, and then defecates and
urinates and grazes again. No doubt this wealth is sweet and green. Blessed is the wealth of a Muslim from which he gives to the poor, the orphans and to needy travelers. (Or the Prophet said something similar to it) No doubt, whoever takes it illegally will be like the one who eats but is never satisfied, and his wealth will be a witness against him on the Day of Resurrection." (Sahih Bukhari, Book #24, Hadith #544)
Allah (Subhanahu wa-ta'ala), Himself telling us the way that how we can find good here and hereafter…….
“Whoever works righteousness - whether male or female - while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter).”(16:97)
Miserable Life but Good Hereafter:
Verily this life is a trial and exam for a believer (see 67: 1&2) and there will be a great rewards for them in hereafter. May Allah (Subhanahu wa-ta'ala) save us from all trials and exams.
“Be sure We shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere, who say, when afflicted with calamity: "To Allah We belong, and to Him is our return": They are those on whom (descend) blessings from Allah, and Mercy, and they are the ones that receive guidance.” (2: 155-157)

>“Abu Sa'id and abu Huraira reported that they heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Never a believer is stricken with discomfort, hardship or illness, grief or even with mental worry that his sins are not expiated for him.”(Sahih Muslim, Book #32,Hadith #6242)
Good Life but Miserable Hereafter:
‘Those who spend their lives devoted blindly to worldly goods, will realize that they consumed all their lives chasing illusions. They will realize their ridiculous situation after they die.’ (See 3:14) May Allah (Subhanahu wa-ta'ala) show us the reality of the things, save us from lust and illusion. May Allah (Subhanahu wa-ta'ala) accept and increase our little deed.
“Do they think that in wealth and children with which We enlarge them. We hasten unto them with good things. Nay, [it is a Fitnah (trial) in this worldly life so that they will have no share of good things in the Hereafter] but they perceive not.”(See also 2:200, 73:11, 20:131 and 46:20)

“Narrated 'Amr bin 'Auf Al-Ansari: (who was an ally of Bam 'Amr bin Lu'ai and one of those who had taken part in (the Ghazwa of) Badr): Allah's Apostle sent Abu 'Ubaida bin Al-Jarreh to Bahrain to collect the Jizya. Allah's Apostle had established peace with the people of Bahrain and appointed Al-'Ala' bin Al-Hadrami as their governor. When Abu 'Ubaida came from Bahrain with the money, the Ansar heard of Abu 'Ubaida's arrival which coincided with the time of the Morning Prayer with the Prophet. When Allah's Apostle led them in the morning prayer and finished, the Ansar approached him, and he looked at them and smiled on seeing them and said, "I feel that you have heard that Abu. 'Ubaida has brought something?" They said, "Yes, O Allah's Apostle' He said, "Rejoice and hope for what will please you! By Allah, I am not afraid of your poverty but I am afraid that you will lead a life of luxury as past nations did, whereupon you will compete with each other
for it, as they competed for it, and it will destroy you as it destroyed them.”(Sahih Bukhri
